How we started
More than 16 years ago, Pink House Arts began as a small creative business working with charities, healthcare providers, community groups and individuals. We became a Community Interest Company in 2018.
We kept busy during the Covid-19 pandemic and developed Activity Bags – a service for the housebound where we delivered crafts and activities for people to do in their own homes.
Where we are now
Based near Oundle, we work in North Northamptonshire, Peterborough and Stamford.
We specialise in working with adults, particularly those affected by loneliness and social isolation. Our craft clubs, classes and community events allow people to meet and make friends in a relaxed environment while learning new skills. Doing crafts together is a great way to boost self-confidence and improve self-esteem.
Pink House Arts CIC
Our focus is on helping people who live in our local rural communities. As a Community Interest Company we often work in partnership with other organisations such as healthcare providers, charities, community groups, public libraries, churches, and parish councils.
Our Creative Director, Caroline Kisby, is a qualified adult education tutor. As well as teaching craft classes and workshops for adults, she has spent many years working in healthcare settings with NHS Trusts, residential homes, and mental health charities including Headway, MIND, and Rethink, helping to encourage and inspire people’s creativity.
