Pink House Arts CIC
Art at the Heart of Wellbeing
How we started
How we started, over 16 years ago,Pink House Arts began as a small creative business working with community groups, individuals, charities, and health care providers. We became a Community Interest Company in 2018.
We specialise in working with adults with low-level mental health issues such as stress, depression, and anxiety which might be caused by loneliness, social isolation, or ill-health. We also work with adults who have physical or learning difficulties, elderly residents in care homes or sheltered housing, and in community or healthcare settings.
Our Creative Director, Caroline Kisby, is a qualified adult education tutor. As well as teaching craft classes and workshops for adults, she has spent many years working in healthcare settings with NHS Trusts, residential homes, and mental health charities including Headway, MIND, and Rethink, helping to encourage and inspire people about the importance of arts being at the heart of wellbeing.
Pink House Arts CIC
As a Community Interest Company, our focus is on helping people living in rural communities; and we often work in partnership with other organisations such as public libraries, community groups, town and parish councils etc. We can organise standalone craft events, or regular activities such as craft clubs.
